Advance payment of a non-refundable registration fee of three hundred dollars ($300.00) is required to reserve a space for your child. Of that, one hundred dollars ($100.00) is an insurance fee, paid yearly upon re-enrollment, and two hundred dollars ($200.00) is applied to your child’s first month of tuition.

The Parent-Provider Contract may be terminated by either party with a 45 day written notice. This period can be shorter if mutually agreed upon by parents and provider. Your child’s schedule can only be changed at the beginning of each school year or if mutually agreed upon.

HOURS, VACATIONS, AND FEES:

I provide full time care, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, as well as part time care (2 to 4 days/week). Extended care can be arranged per the Optional Services Fee Schedule.

Our school year runs from September through August. A list of vacation dates will be provided. They include a Winter Break of two weeks in December/January, one week in March/April (to coincide with Easter), and one week to coincide with July 4th.

Tuition is determined by the number of days per week for which care is provided and is charged on a monthly basis. A list of current fees will be provided. Tuition is due on the first of each month. There will be a charge of twenty five dollars ($25.00) for checks received or post dated after the fifth of the month, with an additional charge of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each day thereafter. If you have special circumstances that prevent you from paying the tuition by the 5th you may pay half on the first with the rest being due by the 15th. There will be a fifty dollar ($50.00) service fee for this arrangement and I must be informed of your plan to use this option at least one week before the 1st of the month affected. The full monthly tuition is charged for all months, with the exception of those with the one or two week vacations listed above. Tuition for those months will be pro-rated.

FOOD, CLOTHING, AND MISC. SUPPLIES:

Please label your child’s belongings.

Please provide the following (be sure to label your child’s belongings):

  1. a change of clothing to keep in your child’s cubby
  2. disposable diapers (if needed)…we will inform you when your child’s supply is running low
  3. any special foods or formulas
  4. a toothbrush
  5. an emergency supply bag to be kept in the emergency shed (further info. will be provided).

We provide lunch and an afternoon snack daily.

Please do not allow your child to bring gum, candy, money, toy guns or other war-related toys to school. Children are welcome to bring clean toys and books that are in good repair. However, they will be expected to share what they bring and we cannot be held responsible for a toy being broken or a book being torn. We expect the children to learn to respect and care for all property, but accidents and “learning experiences” happen.

We celebrate birthdays. Parents may bring cake, cookies, or other treats for the occasion. Please let us know in advance what you have planned.

ILLNESS AND MEDICATION:

Please inform us of any communicable illnesses in your family. Colds and runny noses are to be expected with young children, but if your child is lethargic, has a fever, diarrhea, or a bad cough along with the runny nose, please keep him/her home. A child who has a fever, diarrhea, or is throwing up MUST be kept home for AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER the last indication of illness.

If your child is injured at school and you cannot be reached, the physician on the Emergency Information Form will be called (or 911 if necessary). I recommend that you leave a signed consent form with your physician for him/her to proceed with emergency treatment.  Scratches and scrapes are inevitable when children play and will be treated with antiseptic and a bandage. For anything more serious you will be notified as soon as possible.

Medicines will be given according to your wishes indicated on the Medication Authorization Form. Please provide any medication that you wish us to give during the day (for colds, coughs, rashes, etc.).

MISCELLANEOUS:

If someone other than a parent is to pick up a child, such plans are to be indicated in writing or verbally communicated to us. We reserve the right to request identification of anyone who we do not personally know before releasing a child.

All children will have a nap/rest period during the early afternoon.

It is necessary that neighbor’s driveways and property be respected.  Please park only in legal areas and do not allow your children to play on other people’s property while coming and going. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
